Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson visited GARO

Two weeks ago, GARO’s CEO Patrik Andersson met with several Swedish government ministers during his visit to Sager House to take part in discussions on what is central to achieving the established climate goals and GARO’s view of long-term competitiveness and increased productivity in Europe.

As demand for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles increases, so too does the need to speed the expansion of the charging infrastructure found at homes, workplaces and public places alike. To enable this transition, collaboration between the public sector and government at European level is becoming increasingly important.

Accordingly, on Wednesday 1 March, talks on the green transition and the development of smart and future-proof charging infrastructure continued at GARO’s premises when the Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson visited.

"Talking about and sharing our knowledge of innovative and safe electric vehicle charging with the Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson was both rewarding and educational. As one of the leaders in destination charging, for GARO to be able take part in discussions such as these makes us both proud and hopeful about moving towards a more electrified and fossil-free future,” says Patrik Andersson, President and CEO of GARO.

The discussions held during the visit included the importance of industry stakeholders adhering to European standards in communication, electrical equipment and safety. Among other things, the Swedish Prime Minister received a guided tour of the electric vehicle charger production unit and a brief presentation of GARO’s e-mobility product range.
