GARO’s cable distribution cabinets are designed for professional installations and are used for the safe and demanding distribution of power, lighting, and e-mobility solutions. At GARO, we have been assembling and equipping cable cabinets for many years. At the same time, we have continuously explored ways to make the cabinet itself more environmentally friendly and user-friendly. We are therefore proud to present our own range of cable distribution cabinets, manufactured from the more sustainable and premium material Magnelis®.

SMART FLEXIBILITY

The modern design incorporates several well-considered features that simplify both installation and operation. GARO cable distribution cabinets are available in nine standard sizes and can be supplied with or without an upper section for metering equipment or other devices. A comprehensive range of accessories allows the cabinet to be installed in multiple ways and adapted to various ground and wall conditions, providing maximum flexibility during both project planning and installation.

PRE-ASSEMBLED TO YOUR SPECIFICATION

We customize and deliver cable distribution cabinets fully assembled according to your requirements, allowing installers on site to simply connect incoming and outgoing cables. The cabinet can be equipped with anything from backup power solutions and power distribution units to control systems for lighting and EV charging. This saves valuable installation time and minimizes on-site assembly work.

ALL CABINETS MARKED WITH A QR CODE

Using the QR code located inside the cabinet, installers can quickly access all relevant information about the unit. Digital documentation, including article numbers, cable dimensions, and technical specifications, is available directly on a mobile device, simplifying both service and future maintenance. Because GARO stores all documentation securely in the cloud, it is accessible 24/7, eliminating the need to keep track of physical drawings and documentation.

Magnelis® for a lower climate and environmental impact

Sustainability is important to us in every aspect of our business. That is why we are proud to be the first company on the market to offer a cable distribution cabinet featuring a Magnelis® metallic coating.

This makes our cabinets particularly suitable for outdoor installations and other demanding environments where they are exposed to weather, wind, moisture, and ground humidity.

Compared with conventional hot-dip galvanized coatings, Magnelis® provides significantly superior self-healing properties and enhanced corrosion resistance (Corrosion Class C5) in harsh or highly alkaline environments. Magnelis® is approved for the highest corrosivity category, C5, ensuring long-term protection even in exposed outdoor environments while minimizing maintenance requirements over time. As a result, our cable distribution cabinets are capable of withstanding demanding climatic conditions across all geographical regions and environmental conditions.

Magnelis® is also an excellent environmental choice, as its production process reduces environmentally harmful emissions by as much as 80% compared with comparable materials. Furthermore, Magnelis® is the only magnesium-based coating certified by RISE for Corrosion Class C5.

Naturally, our cable distribution cabinets also comply with the highest impact resistance rating, IK10, providing effective protection against vandalism in public and exposed environments.

Wall-mounted indoor cabinet

Naturally, we also manufacture cable distribution cabinets specifically designed for indoor installations. For protected indoor environments, we use cabinets with a hot-dip galvanized coating, finished in white paint or a textured surface to blend seamlessly into the surroundings, in accordance with environmental classes C1 and C2. The design is more compact and lightweight, and the cabinets are mounted on walls or support stands to provide an ergonomically favourable working height. A removable side panel simplifies the installation of incoming service cables. For more demanding indoor environments, we recommend a wall-mounted Magnelis® cabinet for enhanced durability and extended service life.
