Three models. One complete system.

Three models. One complete system.

GARO’s low-voltage distribution cabinets are available in three enclosure widths: K2, K3 and K4, all designed in accordance with EBR industry guidelines. Combined with a comprehensive range of accessories, they create a flexible and future-proof system solution for a wide variety of installation requirements. The system is designed to be easy to specify, straightforward to install and reliable to commission.

More space for easier installation.

More space for easier installation.

GARO’s enclosures are designed with a strong focus on ease of use, and their spacious construction provides ample room for working inside the cabinet. This allows more rails and components to be installed within the same unit. The design also enables the use of handling and lifting aids for heavier cabinets, contributing to a safer working environment and reduced installation time. Individually adjustable feet ensure high stability, even when installed on uneven surfaces.

Internally, the solution is based on a standardized and modular distribution system with a pre-assembled busbar system, making it easy to configure the installation both for new projects and for future modifications.

Built for Nordic conditions.

Built for Nordic conditions.

GARO’s cabinets are manufactured from Magnelis® steel, providing exceptionally high corrosion protection (C5), classified and certified by RISE. The material withstands road salt, coastal environments, and other external stresses, ensuring a long service life and minimal maintenance requirements.

The self-healing zinc coating also protects cut and machined surfaces, making Magnelis® particularly suitable for harsh environments. The enclosures meet IK10 impact resistance requirements for installations in public environments, ensuring robust performance under demanding conditions. The design is optimized for Nordic climates with wide variations in temperature and weather conditions. It minimizes the risk of moisture and condensation, ensuring reliable year-round operation.

Safety integrated into the design.

Safety integrated into the design.

All internal live parts are protected against accidental contact and comply with the market requirement for IP2X protection, ensuring a high level of safety both during installation and throughout operation.

The enclosure itself is rated IP34D, providing a high degree of protection against the ingress of solid objects and water in outdoor environments. The solution has been developed and verified as a complete system, with the enclosure, busbar system, and components tested together. The removable and lockable door, equipped with an SE lock, further enhances safe handling and reliable operation.

A complete system solution for reliable project design.

GARO’s low-voltage distribution systems are developed as complete, integrated solutions in which all components work together seamlessly. This makes the system easy to specify, straightforward to design, and reliable to commission. The solution can be easily adapted to meet project-specific requirements, providing safe and dependable power distribution in low-voltage networks.

Built on experience, designed for reality.

Built on experience, designed for reality.

GARO’s low-voltage distribution systems are the result of extensive experience in power distribution and close collaboration with installers, consultants, and end customers. The solutions are developed based on real-world requirements, where demands for safety, accessibility, and uninterrupted operation must be met under the actual conditions encountered in public environments.

By combining proven design principles, durable materials, and a clear system approach, we provide solutions that perform in practice—from specification and installation to reliable long-term operation throughout the entire service life of the product.

A complete and flexible system

For all three enclosures, a comprehensive range of accessories is available for installation purposes, including conversion kits for five-wire systems, gland plates, and other components designed to meet various installation requirements. The range also includes spare parts and products for service and maintenance, such as earthing devices, keys, locks, and other replacement components. All products are developed to ensure ease of installation, high quality, operational reliability, and a long service life.

Cabinets with pre-assembled 400A busbar systems available in various sizes and configurations, featuring an opening foundation that simplifies cable entry during installation.

The solutions can be adapted to different installation environments according to customer requirements and site conditions.

For safe and efficient isolation, GARO offers fuse switch disconnectors from 63A up to 400A for cabinet mounting. Thanks to a smart and innovative connection system to the busbar arrangement, GARO’s fuse switch disconnectors always ensure correct and reliable contact. Clear mechanical feedback makes it easy to verify correct installation, giving installers complete confidence that assembly has been carried out properly.

Busbar System

Our proprietary busbar system has been developed and tested to integrate seamlessly with all other components in GARO’s low-voltage distribution cabinets.

GARO supplies connection terminals, both insulated and uninsulated, for copper and aluminium conductors up to 300 mm², ensuring reliable connections across all types of installations. The products are tested and approved in accordance with applicable standards and installation requirements, guaranteeing high quality, safe operation and easy installation.

We provide a complete solution with a wide range of accessories, including grounding devices, conversion kits for five-conductor systems and bottom plates. TN-S kits and ground plates are also available to meet various installation requirements.
