Sustainability has been a watchword for the family business Tiraholms for over 40 years and, as they say in that part of Sweden, “You don’t saw the branch you’re sitting on”. In September 2019, the firm’s latest initiative was realised – sixteen new charging stations for its guests.
Over the past year, municipal power company Vaggeryds Energi AB has installed 62 charging stations – a significant investment for a municipality with 14,100 inhabitants. And yet, these charging stations are just the beginning – even better charging infrastructure will be required to meet the municipality’s ambitious climate goal.
Current and future residents of Falun can enjoy greatly expanded and future-proof charging infrastructure, making the decision to buy an electric car even easier. Today, in an area measuring 70 km by 70 km and home to some 58,500 people, no one has more than 25 km to the nearest fast charger.
Icelanders are getting revved up for the future, and GARO’s reliable charging stations are perfectly suited to Iceland, which often faces challenging climatic conditions, summer and winter alike. Electric car sales on the barren island are booming, and we are helping to ensure that the charging infrastructure keeps up.
