GH EL installs GARO’s new sustainable street lighting cabinets

At the beginning of 2025, GARO launched its new street lighting cabinet. The cabinet has been developed with a strong focus on sustainability, functionality, and modern design, and is manufactured from the environmentally friendly and self-healing material Magnelis®. All cabinets are designed with space for a metering panel.

Bo Martinsson, installer at GH EL in Uddevalla, has worked with street lighting for over 20 years and has been involved in several projects where GARO’s new cabinets have been installed. Since the product launch in March, the company has already installed approximately 35 cabinets in different municipalities throughout Dalsland. Bo recently visited GARO to see the production process up close and follow the entire manufacturing journey, from the first metal sheet to the finished product.

“For us, it’s been important that the cabinets maintain a high level of quality. We received the products and materials we were looking for, and at a competitive price. We’re very satisfied with the cabinets, and I’ve already informed and recommended them to other installers. We’ll definitely continue using these cabinets in our upcoming projects,” says Bo.
Ulf Andersson, Area Sales Manager at GARO Installation, shares insights into the product development process:

“We’ve developed a new product in close collaboration with several customers, and Bo has been an important part of that work. His extensive field experience has provided valuable input on how the product could be further improved. But even as it stands, we already have an excellent product that we hope many more will benefit from in the future,” says Ulf.
