Östersund municipality supports the energy transition with charging infrastructure from GARO
Östersund municipality is meeting the growing demand for electric vehicle charging points and has chosen GARO as a comprehensive solutions provider in its continued commitment to promoting sustainable travel.
In collaboration with Rexel, GARO has signed an agreement with Östersund municipality, valid through 2026 with the possibility of extension. The agreement covers approximately 700 charging points to be installed across the municipality over the coming years. This initiative is part of the municipality’s broader strategy to encourage more sustainable modes of transport and to support the adoption of electric vehicles.
The agreement includes the GARO Entity and the LS4 charging stations—products that provide future-proof, reliable solutions along with related services and accessories. By combining Rexel’s expertise in electrical distribution with GARO’s innovative charging infrastructure, Östersund municipality is offered a complete solution that meets today’s needs while also aligning with future demands for sustainability and energy efficiency.
